This state-of-the-art stadium is home to Lexington's new minor league professional baseball team, the Lexington Legends, and is the premier outdoor concert venue in Central Kentucky. They may be a Single A team, but Lexington has quickly embraced their new team in a major league way and the seats are packed for home games. The season runs from April to September.

Keeneland is a combination Thoroughbred race course and sales company located six miles west of Lexington in the heart of Kentucky's famed Bluegrass Region. Keeneland provides superior year-round training facilities and annually conducts race meetings of the highest caliber in April and October.

With its tranquil setting and lovely stone fences and buildings, this national historic landmark is one of the most genteel and beautiful racetracks in the world. Live Thoroughbred racing takes place April and October. No racing on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Originally a campsite for the first settlers in the Bluegrass , this 26-acre nature sanctuary features an array of historical and environmental features. Trails take visitors past natural springs, limestone fences originally constructed in the early 1800s and recently restored, the remains of an historic grist mill and farm, and a quarry, from which most of the stone for the buildings on the site was taken. A naturalist is stationed at the Visitors Center , with tours scheduled regularly.
